The first time and I hope the last I use this miserable post office. The foreign sounding girl on the till was really rude and her command of the English language was just as dire. .
Like a lot of people its been ages since I have posted a letter as I tend to send things through email. The post office was quite I brought the letter to the post office in order for it be to be stamped. The women just flung it back and told me to put the stamp on (very petty)
Just as I was about to walk out her co-worker had to make an excuse on her behalf however the excuse sounded weird "in case a mistake was made and I blamed them." In reality it was more likely that the cashier could not be arsed .
I have been in post offices before in the UK to post parcels and they would write the labels out for the customers and afix the stamps I did not have to ask. They were not busy it would have taken her a second
to afix the stamp on the right side in the right way ,
It turns out there was a very good reason why I had made the request when the miserable cashier started yelling at me for licking it and affixing it on the wrong side(obviously I did not know the correct method clearly she did ) I don't think it was asking too much in the first place . Apparently customer service does not exist at this post office. Next time I'll just go in a newsagent and buy a pack of four and do it myself should I ever need to post a letter again.
These small post offices are a declining business and on the evidence of recent experience the service does that predicament no favours.

The manager was extremely rude and arrogant, and then held my parcel for two days before releasing it to Parcelforce. Won't be using this Post Office again!
