- Mavaz Chopper Review added: 2018.11.09★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆It seems that the process of booking an appointment changes all the time. I've phoned up after lunch and got an appointment for the following day. I've phoned up at 9.30am and been told I must always phone at 8.00am for appointments on the day and that they cannot give out appointments for other days. Why is it different every time I phone? I suppose it depends on who you get that's willing to help you. Giving credit where it's due, some of the ladies over the phone are helpful.
I use the grange as an absolute last resort because I find i have to be careful how I word my issues to be taken seriously. On one occasion I arrived with an issue with the coil, the doctor seemed reluctant and uninterested to examine me which left me feeling uncomfortable. And then questioned my ability to predict my own menstrual cycle even though I have been monitoring it for years.
The Scottish NHS is a very busy service and people must be patient as services are over stretched. However consistency is key and changes appointment systems will leave people feeling frustrated and disappointed.
