- Heather Mat Review added: 2018.05.19★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The cafe is set in beautiful and unusual setting of a working law library, Gran Cafe serves up delicious cakes and adequate coffee. For hundreds of years, entry to the Signet Library was reserved to lawyers gaining 'Writers to the Signet' membership.Now, it's been opened up to the public and is well worth a visit. Admittedly, there is nothing special about the food but for the location on the Royal Mile its actually very good in comparison to anything else you'll get nearby at the price point and the setting is just jaw dropping.
